For over 20 years, Brooke has provided mental health counseling and treated substance use disorders while working in corrections, community mental health, and with active-duty service members and veterans.
She has said that witnessing the transformation process is the most rewarding thing about her career, keeping her excited to do what she enjoys.
Brooke graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in social work in 2003 at Longwood University. Shortly after she began working with individuals struggling with addiction. She became a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in 2007. Years later after gaining some experience in the field, Brooke decided to challenge herself by returning to school with a goal of opening her own private practice someday. She graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Capella University in 2019 and since then, Brooke has become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is the founder and CEO of Your Vision Counseling Services, LLC located in Chesapeake, VA.
